Day 1-2: Maun – Moremi Game Reserve

On arrival in Maun, you will be required to comply with customs and immigration formalities before being met and assisted over to a light aircraft for the transfer to Xakanaxa. Transfer by seat-in charter light aircraft to the Xakanaxa airstrip, this flight takes approximately 20 minutes.
Spend 2 nights at Camp Xakanaxa in a standard tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis including game viewing activities, local brand drinks, park fees and laundry.
Set in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, which is rated as being one of the finest game viewing areas in Africa, Camp Xakanaxa has one of the best locations in Botswana. Accommodation is in twelve tastefully furnished tents with twin or double beds and en-suite facilities with shower, hand basin and w.c. The tents are situated on the edge of the lagoon and from their private viewing deck, with comfortable loungers, one looks onto the reeded fringes at the waters edge. The camp, with its eclectic mix of furnishings from all over Africa, has a dining room, lounge/bar area, fire deck and plunge pool all slightly raised on wooden platforms with spectacular views over the lagoon. The reception area boasts a curio shop. At night the camp looks stunning as it is lit by dozens of paraffin lamps and candles. The game drives in this sector of Moremi take one down winding tracks, through Mopane forests and across lush grasslands. The waterways are either forded by vehicles or crossed on rustic log bridges. The camp faces out over the Xakanaxa Lagoon on the Khwai River, where boat trips explore the sinuous channels and floodplains of the Delta, one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. Birding in the area is excellent, especially in the spring and summer months when the migrants are breeding. To the north are the world famous heronries, which attract large numbers of breeding storks and herons.

Day 3 – 4: Chobe National Park

Seat-in charter aircraft transfer to Kasane Airport. This flight takes approximately 60 minutes. On arrival, you will be met and transferred overland to Chobe Game Lodge.
Spend 2 nights at the Lodge in a standard room with en suite facilities on a full board basis including game viewing activities, local brand drinks, park fees and laundry. Chobe Game Lodge is the only permanent lodge within the Chobe National Park in a privileged location along the Chobe River. It has 42 twin/double rooms, four luxury private suites with individual plunge pools and one family unit; all rooms are river-facing, with spacious decks. The recently built boardwalk overlooking the river has added a whole new dimension to game-viewing, simply find your favorite spot along this 250 metres elevated platform and settle down to watch the ever-changing wildlife parade across the river, islands and floodplains. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace, a riverside boma area, a fully equipped conference room, a business centre for those guests needing to keep in touch, a stylish bar with an outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River and a cigar bar with a full sized billiard table. Activities include game drive on board of 4×4 vehicle and boating safaris.

Day 5 – 6: Victoria Falls

During the course of the morning you will transfer by road and boat to David Livingstone Safari Lodge. This transfer takes approximately 2 hours and customs and immigration formalities are cleared en route at both the Botswana and Zambia border posts. Spend 2 nights David Livingstone Safari Lodge in a standard room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 7 – 9: Lower Zambezi National Park

Scheduled road transfer to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone. Connect to a Proflight scheduled flight to the Royal airstrip in the Lower Zambezi via Lusaka. On arrival you will be met by a representative from Chongwe who will transfer you overland to the camp.Spend three nights at Chongwe River Camp in a classic tent with en suite facilities on a full board basis, including scheduled game viewing activities, park fees, local brand drinks and laundry.

Day 10 – 12: South Luangwa National Park

After breakfast transfer to the Royal airstrip to connect on a Proflight scheduled flight to Mfuwe via Lusaka. On arrival in Mfuwe, you will be met and transfer overland to Kafunta. Spend three nights at Kafunta River Lodge in a suite on a full board basis, including scheduled game viewing activities (day and night game drive, walking safaris), park fees, local brand drinks and laundry.
