Day 1 – 2: Nankoma Island –Senga Bay
Upon arrival at the Lilongwe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide, after greetings we will drive straight to Senga Bay – Salima for your 20 minutes Boat transfer to Nankoma Island. You will be accommodated at the Blue Zebra Lodge for the first two nights. The Lodge offers 8 exclusive tented en-suite chalets each overlooking the lake with some of crystal clear waters. The chalets are set in an unspoiled environment and guests are surrounded by nature and luxury. Guests are free to chill at the infinity pool, Kayak around the islands or enjoy a game of volleyball as part of the board package. The lodge also offers free use of snorkelling equipment to view the unique colourful fish that inhabit every inch of the coastline.

Day 3 – 4: Liwonde National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the mainland and meet your guide for your journey to Liwonde National Park where you will overnight at the Luxury Mvuu Lodge overlooking the Shire River. Activities offered include game viewing, river cruises, nature walks. The lodge is of top quality with very classy luxury safari tents overlooking the lagoon, the food is exceptional and the package includes sunset river cruises and early morning game drives.
Liwonde National Park is located on the upper Shire River plain and covering an area of 580 square kilometers, this was one of the first reserves in Malawi. The landscape are quite varied and include mopane woodlands dominated by weeping trees, reed swamps and other marshland vegetation along the Shire River; there are the floodplain grasslands in the south, woodlands on all the hills, tall grass/tree savannahs along the narrow floodplains of seasonal streams, and small pockets of dry deciduous riverine thickets and semi-deciduous riverine forests. All of these landscapes host an incredible variety of species including hippo, crocodile, elephant, rhino, and a large quantity of antelope and many species of bird.

Day 5 – 7: Cape Maclear
After breakfast time to head to the Lake Malawi. Your guide will pick you up and drive towards Cape Maclear and turn on the way to the beautiful Pumulani Lodge.
Pumulani is an exclusive beach lodge within Lake Malawi National Park. The lodge has ten individually-designed villas spread out along a lush hillside overlooking the lake. Each villa boasts a large bedroom, a spacious living area and a private deck with lake view. Guests can relax on the sandy beach or at our stylish infinity pool. For those seeking activity, there is water skiing, sailing, diving, wakeboarding, kayaking, snorkelling, fishing and bird watching. Scenic cruises at sunset on traditional wooden dhow. It’s the perfect way to experience the beauty of Lake Malawi, described by the explorer David Livingstone as The Lake of Stars.

Day 8: Departure
After breakfast you will fly to Lilongwe International Airport for your flight back home.
